Why should we study the Holocaust?

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." - George Santayana

This quote, in my opinion, is a clear example of why we should remember the Holocaust. If we learn about it, then we can remember it, and share about it with others. Learning about it also means that we will have more to remember.If we choose not to learn, and we choose not to remember, then we are choosing to make the same mistakes over and over again. We, by choosing not to remember, are not able to take a stand against the Holocaust, but are only able to repeat it.
